Just a Quick Update

We received a letter from the USCIS stating that we should expect to receive our I-800 within the next 10-14 business days. Once we receive it then we work on visas, Thompson Tot's and ours. I think that's how this works. Then we wait for an invitation to travel. So far things are moving along nicely. They say it's possible for us to travel by the end of May-June. Of course, I'm pulling for a May date!

Daniel Charles Qiumeng Thompson

My precious Daniel, here is some of your story on this side of the world. All the days ordained for you were written in His book before one of them came to be.
In September 2011, your Daddy looked at me in the car and said, "What do you think about beginning the process now?" He already knew my answer to that question was yes.

We watched our Heavenly Father over the past two years provide everything needed to bring you home. So many people rallied around us to help...because you are loved...so very loved.

On October 24, 2011, I found out I was pregnant. This too is a part of your story.

It was that year God tapped your heartbeat into existence and has sung melodies over you ever since. (Zephaniah 3:17)  Now within three short weeks we will be holding you in our arms.

God put the Olive Tree on my heart that year too as we prayed over you and Joshua because it is a picture of the family God has called us to be. The olive tree bark is made of Scripture telling about spiritual adoption.

The day we found out you had a brother, we prayed for you. I wore my necklace with two Chinese symbols that special friends gave me: window to China and the Chinese symbol for mother.

December 5, 2013, we received the call from Bethany Christian Services telling us we have a son. There aren't words to describe the awesomeness of that moment.

We love you, Daniel with a never stopping, never giving up, always and forever love.
